As weird and hard as some people may think it is. "The Big Chop" isnt a bad thing. On this friday, I will be taking that step for the THIRD time. (In my sister Tanza's words, "Third times a charm"). Yes, I'm a little nervous but not scared. At 25, I no longer feel the need to purchase $300 + hair anymore because that's money I could def be spending on things that I love and care about more. My friends are very familiar with my words "I'm real about my Remi" :) lol, but its time to let that go and embrace the natural beauty I hold and hide for the final time. Along with my natural journey, I will embark on a spiritual and health journey as well. Women, its due time we wake up and encouage each other to be proud of who we are and uplift one another. Along my journey I'll be in need of advice I'm sure and Lord knows I'm blessed to have an amazing support system. I dedicate this journey and this growth to my rocks.
